An ABX Air Boeing 767-300F freighter arriving from Ontario, CA reported a flap problem on its approach to Fort Worth, TX on 22 October 2024.
Flight GB3125, operated by an ABX Air Boeing 767-300F on behalf of Amazon Prime Air, was conducting an approach to Fort Worth Alliance Airport (AFW). The scheduled flight was arriving from Ontario International Airport (ONT).

Air traffic control cleared the arriving flight to land on runway 16L Fort Worth Alliance. During the approach, flight crew reported experiencing a problem with the aircraft’s wing flaps. As a result, the crew conducted a go around procedure and reposition the aircraft for a second approach.
The flight landed without further incident on runway 16L, from the second landing attempt.

Flight data shows that the flight GB3125 made an on-time departure from Ontario International Airport at 1715 local time on 22 October.
The flight had then proceeded normally, climbing to flight level FL350 (35,000 feet) for the easterly service to Dallas.
Descent and initial approach procedures into Fort Worth Alliance was similarly conducted normally. Flight crew reported the technical problem on final approach and they go around procedure was conducted from 850 feet.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) released a brief report confirming the incident. “The crew of ABX Air Services Flight 3125 reported a possible wing issue and safely landed at Perot Field / Fort Worth Alliance Airport in Texas. This occurred around 9:50 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Oct. 22. The Boeing 767-300ER cargo plane departed from Ontario International Airport in California. The FAA is investigating.”
The aircraft conducting the GB3125 service from Ontario on behalf of Amazon Prime Air was a Boeing 767-300F, registered N1427A. This is a 28.6-year-old converted freighter owned by Amazon Prime Air and operated by ABX Air. It has been an operational service with the carrier since April 2018.
