Air France Flight AF7435 Bordeaux-Paris Declares Emergency

Air France flight AF7435, an A321-200 arriving from Bordeaux, has declared an emergency whilst on approach to Paris (CDG).

An Air France flight inbound from Bordeaux has declared an emergency whilst approaching Paris.

Air France flight AF7435, operated by an Airbus A321-200, declared an emergency with squawk code 7700 whilst on approach to Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG).

The flight AF7435 declared an emergency whilst passing through 8,000 feet in the latter stages of its approach to the destination airport. Flight crew expedited the final approach to Paris following the emergency declaration.

15:00 UTC: Landed Paris CDG


Having declared the emergency moments ago, Air France flight AF7435 has now landed Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG).

Flight data shows that flight AF7435 had made a late departure out of Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport 9BOD) this afternoon. Data source RadarBox has recorded the actual time of departure as 1547 local time. The scheduled departure time for the rotation to Paris was listed as 1435 local time.

Following departure, the flight had proceeded normally, climbing to FL300 (30,000 feet) for the north easterly route to Paris. The descent and initial approach procedures were similarly conducted normally.

Flight crew squawked transponder code 7700 at 1444 UTC, whilst established on the approach and passing through 8,000 feet.

The aircraft conducting this afternoon’s regional service from Bordeaux was an Airbus A321-200, registered F-GTAQ. This is a 16.7 year old narrowbody aircraft belonging to the national carrier Air France. It has been in operational service with the airline since its initial delivery from the factory in February 2008. The airline has named the aircraft ‘Clermont-Ferrand’.
