An Air India flight enroute from Mumbai to London Heathrow Airport has declared an emergency in the last few minutes.
Air India flight AI129, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, declared the emergency with squawk code 7700 whilst approaching the United Kingdom.

Having declared a general emergency whilst approaching the coast, flight AI129 in now on a northerly track. The flight’s intentions remain unclear at this stage. The nature of the emergency is not yet known.
11:35 UTC: Bomb Threat Flight AI129
According to the online source Flight Emergency, a bomb threat has reportedly been made against Air India flight AI129. It is likely that the flight will receive an RAF fighter escort.
The flight has entered a holding pattern at FL250 in the Norwich area, presumably awaiting the arrival of an escort aircraft.
11:50 UTC: Holding in Norwich Area
Air India flight AI129, originally bound for London Heathrow, continues to hold in the Norwich area after declared an emergency.
12:00 UTC: Left Holding in Norwich Area
Air India flight AI129 is now on the move. The aircraft has exited holding in the Norwich area and proceeding south. The flight is presently maintaining FL250, and the intended arrival airport is not yet clear.
12:09 UTC: Approach to London Heathrow
Having exited the holding procedure, flight AI129 now appears to be making good an approach to London Heathrow Airport . The flight has reverted to a normal squawk code as it continues the approach.

Flight AI129 is presently holding to the east of London Heathrow below 10,000 feet, possibly due to the arrival of other emergency traffic. United Airlines UA926 is presently on an emergency diversion to Heathrow.

Flight AI129 is now establishing on final approach for London Heathrow.

Having declared an emergency due to a bomb threat earlier today, Air India flight AI129 from Mumbai has now landed at London Heathrow Airport.
