American Airlines flight AA4174, operated by an American Eagle Embraer ERJ-175 declared the emergency with transponder code 7700 whilst enroute. The flight is presently continuing to Dallas-Forth Worth International Airport (DFW).

The flight had then proceeded normally, climbing to flight level FL260 (26,000 feet) for the southwesterly service to Dallas.
Flight crew declared the emergency with transponder code 7700 in cruising flight at 1033 UTC.
The aircraft conducting the AA4717 regional service from Little Rock was an Embraer ERJ-175, registered N282NN. This is a 5.3 year old regional jet belonging American Airlines subsidiary carrier American Eagle.
It has been in operational service with the airline since its delivery from the factory in July 2019.
