Condor Flight DE2369 Phuket-Frankfurt Declares Emergency

Condor flight DE2369, an A330-900 arriving from Phuket, has declared an emergency whilst approaching the destination Frankfurt (FRA).

A Condor Airbus A330-900 operating from Phuket to Frankfurt has declared an emergency whilst enroute.

Condor flight DE2369 has squawked transponder code 7700 while in the descent approaching the destination. The flight is currently continuing to Frankfurt am Main Airport (FRA).

Flight DE2369 declared the general emergency whilst established on its descent, passing through FL200 (20,000 feet). The nature of the problem prompting the declaration is not yet known.

The flight has continued its approach to the destination Frankfurt am Main Airport (FRA).

Condor flight DE2369 is now established on approach, passing through 2,000 feet. Flight crew are maintaining transponder code 7700 for the landing.

The aircraft conducting the DE2369 long haul service from Phuket International Airport (HKT) was an Airbus A330-900, registered D-ANRC. This is a 4.4-year-old widebody aircraft belonging to the carrier Condor Airlines.

It has been an operational service with the airline since May 2024. The aircraft is presently operating in the ‘Blue Sea’ livery.

Flight data shows that the flight DE2369 made a delayed departure out Phuket at 0604 local time on 4 November. The airlines lists the scheduled departure time for the service as 0400 local time.

Following its departure, the flight had set course normally, climbing to flight level FL400 for of the easterly service to Frankfurt, Germany.

Descent and early arrival procedures were similarly conducted normally. Flight crew declared the emergency with transponder code 7700 whilst descending through FL200 in German airspace.
