Starting 15 January 2025, Etihad Airways will offer twice-daily flights to Paris, marking a significant expansion of its services to the French capital.

The UAE’s national airline is set to bring back its flagship Airbus A380 on 1 November 2024. This will be followed by the widebody counterpart, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, for the second daily flight in January.

Etihad 3-Class Operations

Passengers can expect Etihad’s signature three-class service on all flights. Whether you’re in First, Business, or Economy, you’ll enjoy a top-notch travel experience.

This boost in flights shows Etihad’s dedication to attracting high-end tourists to Abu Dhabi and strengthening the cultural and economic ties between the UAE and France.

Arik De, Etihad’s Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, shared his thoughts: “Paris is the epitome of style. We’re delighted to offer two daily flights, giving our guests a luxurious travel option.”

“Bringing back the A380 and adding the 787-9 Dreamliner proves our commitment to excellent service, connections, and convenience. It’s great for both business and leisure travelers, smoothly linking to our expanding network across the GCC, Asia, and beyond.”

The new schedule offers morning and evening flights, catering to various travel needs. Early arrivals in Paris mean tourists can check in sooner and see more sights.

Evening arrivals suit those with daytime commitments. For business travelers, the timing allows full workdays at both ends of the trip, maximizing productivity and minimizing travel disruptions.

A380 & B787 Inflight Experience

On the Airbus A380, passengers can indulge in Etihad’s most luxurious features. These include The Residence (a unique three-room sky suite), First Apartments, and Business Studios.

Even Economy passengers get extra legroom and Etihad’s renowned service, ensuring comfort throughout the journey.

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner complements the A380, offering First, Business, and Economy classes. It boasts state-of-the-art amenities for comfort and productivity, including advanced air filtration systems and larger windows for a more enjoyable flight experience.

With these double daily flights, Etihad strengthens the Abu Dhabi-Paris connection, fostering closer ties between the two vibrant cities. It also improves links to the GCC, Asia, and beyond, solidifying Abu Dhabi’s role as a major travel hub and enhancing its position on the global stage.

Demand for Abu Dhabi-Paris Travel

De added, “This increased frequency shows the high demand for Abu Dhabi-Paris travel. It further establishes Abu Dhabi as a key global gateway.”

“Whether flying for business, leisure, or cultural exploration, Etihad’s twice-daily flights ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey. We’re excited to offer our guests more options and flexibility in their travel plans.”

This expansion underlines Etihad’s commitment to boosting Abu Dhabi’s economy and enhancing its connections with major global markets. It also reflects the airline’s confidence in the recovery and growth of international travel post-pandemic, positioning Etihad as a leader in the aviation industry’s resurgence.

Summary

The introduction of these additional flights is expected to significantly boost tourism and business opportunities between the UAE and France.

It will provide travelers with more options for connecting flights through Abu Dhabi, potentially increasing visitor numbers to both destinations and stimulating economic growth in various sectors including hospitality, retail, and cultural exchanges.
