The UAE’s national carrier, Etihad Airways, is set to broaden its global reach by introducing direct flights to Warsaw, Poland, and Prague, Czechia.
These new routes mark Etihad’s first-ever direct services to these countries, and further expand its European network.
From June 2, 2025, Etihad will operate four weekly flights to both Warsaw and Prague. This expansion aims to provide both business and leisure travelers with easy access to these vibrant European capitals.
Expansion of European Network
Travelers will enjoy the comfort of Etihad’s modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner on these routes. Each flight offers 28 Business Class and 262 Economy Class seats, ensuring a luxurious experience for all passengers.
Etihad Airways’ CEO, Antonoaldo Neves, highlighted the importance of the new routes as part of the nation’s broader expansion strategy. “Adding Warsaw and Prague to our network showcases our commitment to exploring exciting new markets.”
“These routes will strengthen ties with Poland and Czechia while attracting more visitors to Abu Dhabi. This expansion aligns with our growth strategy and supports the UAE’s vision for the future.”
The UAE has seen increasing visitors from both Poland and Czechia. These direct flights will offer travelers from these regions a convenient way to experience Abu Dhabi’s attractions, from beautiful beaches to rich cultural heritage and world-class entertainment.
As a global hub, Abu Dhabi provides seamless connections to Etihad’s extensive network. The new flights will connect smoothly with key destinations across the Middle East, Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, and Australia.
Cities like Sydney, Mumbai, Bangkok, and Riyadh will be easily accessible. Abu Dhabi’s world-class airport and Etihad’s renowned services make it an ideal gateway between Europe and major global markets.
