Dubai-based airline flydubai has announced the launch of direct flights to two exciting Iranian destinations: Kish Island and Kerman.
This expansion strengthens flydubai’s commitment to opening up underserved markets and providing passengers with convenient travel options.
Route Inaugurations in September
Starting September 7th, flydubai will operate a four-times-weekly service to Kish Island. This is a popular tourist destination known for its stunning coastline and beaches.
Kerman, a city rich in history and culture, will be served by a twice-weekly service commencing September 9th.
“We are thrilled to offer our passengers more opportunities to explore Iran with these new direct flights,” said Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai.
“This aligns with our mission to create seamless trade and tourism connections. We believe Kish Island and Kerman will be popular additions to our network.”
This announcement comes on the heels of flydubai launching daily services to Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan in July.
The airline also has upcoming route expansions to Basel, Switzerland (August 2nd), Riga, Latvia (October 11th), Tallinn, Estonia (October 12th), and Vilnius, Lithuania (October 12th).

“It makes travel easier for passengers looking to explore Dubai or connect further through our extensive network.”
Passengers flying with flydubai can expect a comfortable journey on their young fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft.
Business Class offers lie-flat or reclining seats, delicious international cuisine, and extensive inflight entertainment options. Economy Class features optimized seating for relaxation throughout the flight.
