Dubai-based flydubai and SriLankan Airlines have announced a new interline agreement which is in effect from 9 September 2024.
This strategic partnership promises to improve travel options between the UAE, Sri Lanka, and numerous destinations beyond. It offering passengers wider mutual connectivity across both carriers’ extensive networks.
Under this agreement, flydubai passengers gain access to an impressive array of 16 destinations within SriLankan’s robust network.
Interline Benefits
This expansion opens up further new possibilities for travelers. It encompasses major cities across Southern and East Asia, the Middle East, and extending as far as Australia.
Passengers can now seamlessly connect to several bustling metropolises. This includes Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, and Tokyo, among others, all through a single itinerary.
Reciprocally, SriLankan Airlines passengers will benefit from smooth connections via Dubai’s world-class aviation hub. They will be able to connect to over 30 captivating destinations served by flydubai. This diverse selection spans across Africa, Central Asia, Central and Southeast Europe, and the Middle East.
Travelers can now easily reach unique holiday destinations such as the historic streets of Bucharest, the cultural richness of Krakow and Mombasa. Also accessible are the Mediterranean charm of Naples, the Silk Road legacy of Tashkent, and the tropical paradise of Zanzibar.
