JetBlue (Nasdaq: JBLU) is set to elevate its service to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) during peak ski season.

Starting February, the airline will offer its premium Mint service on weekends from both Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

JetBlue is currently the sole airline provider of nonstop flights on these routes. It now aims to further enhance the travel experience to this popular Rocky Mountain destination. Bookings are now open at jetblue.com.

Bozeman Upgrades & Increased Flights

The introduction of Mint service will see additional flights on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This not only upgrades the overall travel experience but also increases flight frequency.

Previously, JetBlue operated late-winter seasonal service from New York and Boston on alternating days with its core service, which will continue midweek.

This expansion underscores JetBlue’s dedication to meeting customer demands with superior travel options and solidifies its leadership in premium leisure travel in the Northeast.

Dave Jehn, vice president of network planning and airline partnerships at JetBlue, was pleased with the new offering.

“We’re thrilled to bring our award-winning Mint experience to Bozeman and Big Sky. By introducing Mint and increasing weekend flights, we’re committed to providing our customers with top-tier travel options, ensuring their journey to and from Bozeman is exceptional.”

Bozeman, nestled in the Rocky Mountains, serves as a gateway to Yellowstone National Park and attracts outdoor enthusiasts year-round. Winter visitors flock to the area for skiing at Big Sky and Bridger mountains, as well as relaxing in natural hot springs.

Summary

The addition of Mint service to Bozeman aligns with JetBlue’s JetForward strategy, focusing on leisure and VFR routes from Northeast hubs. This expansion strengthens the airline’s position in premium leisure travel.

In Boston, JetBlue offers more domestic lie-flat seats than any competitor, recently announcing a 20% increase in New England seats this winter. The Bozeman Mint service complements new twice-daily Mint flights from Boston to Phoenix.

As New York’s Hometown Airline®, JetBlue will be the sole carrier offering nonstop lie-flat service from New York to Bozeman. This addition follows recent Mint expansions from JFK to Vancouver and San Juan, providing customers with an unprecedented range of premium leisure destinations.
