A Mavi Gok Airlines Boeing 737-900 operating a service from Antalya, Turkey to Hannover experienced an engine issue on approach to Hannover Airport on 19 September 2024.
Mavi Gok Airlines flight 4M403 was conducting an approach to runway 09R Hannover Airport when the engine issue arose. Flight crew reported a problem with one engine. Following the report, the approach was continued to Hannover and the aircraft landed without incident.

During the landing role smoke was observed issuing from the affected engine. As a result, flight crew brought the aircraft to a halt on the runway. Emergency services then responded to the aircraft as a precaution.
According to the online source Aviation Herald, the aircraft was then towed to the apron hardstanding area approximately 1 hour after the landing. A normal disembarkation of the aircraft was conducted via air stairs.

Flight data shows that flight 4M403 made an on-time departure from Antalya International Airport (AYT) at 2021 local time on 19 September.
The flight had proceeded normally, climbing to flight level FL340 (34,000 feet) for the north-westerly service to Hannover, Germany.
Descent procedure was similarly conducted normally, and the aircraft was positioned for an approach to runway 09R.
The engine issue was subsequently reported during the approach phase.
The aircraft conducting the 4M403 service from Antalya was a Boeing 737-900ER, registered TC-MGT. this is a 17.3 year old narrowbody aircraft belonging to the carrier Mavi Gok Airlines. It has been an operational service with the airline since April 2024.
Prior to its present service, it has operated with several other airlines including Lion Air and Fly Baghdad.
Mavi Gok Airlines primarily operates flights to and from Turkey. Their network includes both domestic and international destinations.
