An SAS Scandinavian Airlines Embraer ERJ-195 operating from Copenhagen, Denmark to Milan, Italy diverted to Stuttgart with technical problems on 7 August 2024.
SAS flight SK1683, an Embraer ERJ-195 was en route to Milan in the cruise when flight crew reported an instrument problem. The decision was made to carry out a precautionary diversion to nearby Stuttgart. The flight then landed at Stuttgart Airport (STR) approximately 45 minutes after the diversion was initiated.

Flight data shows that SAS flight SK1683 made an on-time departure out of Copenhagen Airport (CPH) at 1244 local time on seven August. The flight then proceeded normally, climbing to flight level FL370 (37,000 feet) for the southerly service to Milan Malpensa International Airport (MXP).
The aircraft was passing abeam Stuttgart when the decision was made to divert. The turnaround and descent into Stuttgart Airport was then carried out.
