On August 8, SAS flight SK2590 between Brussels and Copenhagen declared an emergency, which resulted in a diversion to Amsterdam.

SAS SK2590 – Brussels to Copenhagen: Amsterdam Diversion…
SAS flight SK2590, which declared an emergency and diverted to Amsterdam, is a routine scheduled flight between Brussels and Copenhagen.
Furthermore, the aircraft involved in the incident was SE-RSN.
As per data from Planespotters.net, SE-RSN is a 16.5 year old Embraer E195 that started out life with UK carrier Flybe in March 2008.
Also, SAS Link received the aircraft in March 2023, following a stint with Falko Regional Aircraft & Chorus Aviation after the Flybe demise.
Also, of the E195 variant, the Link subsidiary to the carrier has 10 of them in their fleet.
Within the 10, all of them are in active service with the carrier, and have an average fleet age of 15.4 years.
SAS flight SK2590 departed Brussels at 2028 local time on August 8 and initially climbed out towards Copenhagen Airport.
The crew declared an emergency via the 7700 squawk code and proceeded to divert to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
Overall, the aircraft landed safely without further incident after just 51 minutes in the air.
What Was The Reason for the Emergency Declaration?
At this stage, the cause of the emergency was onboard SAS flight SK2590 Brussels-Copenhagen was due to the cabin not pressurising correctly.
What we do know is that the aircraft has not flown since August 8 at the time of writing (09/08/2024 @ 1336 UK time).
As soon as we have more information pertinent to this, then we will update you accordingly.
